The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) is the government agency under the Ministry of
Primary Industries entrusted with the role and responsibilities of serving the country’s
palm oil industry. As the steward of the nation’s palm oil industry, MPOB is responsible
for providing the scientific and technological support to the Malaysian palm oil industry.
MPOB’s commitment to the industry is not limited to R&D, but also encompasses
registration, licensing and enforcement activities.
For your kind information, MPOB does not involve in commercial production of palm
products including crude palm oil (CPO).We are also not involved in the trading of oils
and fats.
